About the Role
As a Legal Research & Recruitment Specialist, you will be at the centre of our client delivery. You will assess legal case briefs, identify and engage expert witnesses across industries and jurisdictions, and deliver recommendations that legal teams depend on to build strong, credible cases.
This is a high-judgment, client-facing role. You will be expected to challenge briefs when the scope needs refining, and where standard sourcing channels fall short, locate experts through non-obvious channels beyond our panel of over 12,000 experts. You will also manage multiple live engagements simultaneously. Accuracy and professionalism are non-negotiable.
The role is well suited to someone from a legal, professional services, or specialist recruitment background who is commercially sharp, intellectually curious, and confident operating at pace. Fluent written and spoken English is essential, as you will be engaging directly with international legal clients and experts daily.
What You'll Do
- Analyse legal case briefs to understand context, technical requirements, and client objectives, and constructively challenge scope where needed
- Identify and engage suitable expert witnesses across industries, jurisdictions, and non-traditional professional pathways
- Assess candidates for suitability, independence, availability, and alignment with case requirements
- Deliver clear expert profiles with capability assessments, credibility considerations, and commercial fit analysis
- Build trusted relationships with legal clients by clarifying needs, providing sourcing guidance, and managing expectations throughout the engagement
- Directly engage our clients and experts who are at the top of their game, with confidence and credibility
- Develop and maintain a responsive network of high-quality expert witnesses capable of meeting urgent and complex briefs
- Collaborate with Case Management teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery of expert recommendations and case-related materials to clients
- Maintain the internal expert database with sourcing insights, engagement notes, and commercial risk flags
- Monitor developments across industries and emerging disciplines to expand the expert network
- Contribute to process improvements, sourcing innovation, and team knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Law, Business, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or currently completing a law degree (Philippine or international qualifications both welcome)
- 1–3 years' experience in legal services, professional services, specialist recruitment, or a research-intensive role
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to assess complex information quickly and draw sound, commercially aware conclusions
- Fluent written and verbal English, with the ability to engage senior professionals and legal practitioners credibly
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to align legal clients, experts, and internal teams around the right outcome
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising quality
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Legally eligible to work in the Philippines
- Nice to have: experience working with international companies will be looked upon favourably.

- Degree in Law, Business, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or currently completing a law degree (Philippine or international qualifications both welcome)
